Today is Christmas! History, Culture, Tradition of a Country.

In Verucchio, from 8 December to 6 January, a series of events for the whole family to experience Christmas by recounting the history, culture, and traditions of a town.

Sunday 8 December from 3.30 p.m.
In the historical centre of Verucchio, a storyteller will lead the public into a magical space with a tale linked to the birth of Jesus and his first game with the village children. Following on from the various streets of the village, some street musicians will meet in the centre of Piazza Malatesta where the majestic tree will come to life, around which children will welcome Christmas with dances and poems. All this immersed in the splendid setting of the Piazza, dressed up for the festivities, which will host markets selling artistic handicrafts and local gastronomic products.

This will be followed at 6.30 p.m. in Villa Verucchio by the lighting of the tree with the children of the primary schools and the Grinch show.
